Viper winch AMSTEEL upgrade

I am up-grading my Viper winch from steel to AMSTEEL rope, have any of you done this? I never have so I'm looking for advice, the Viper is mounted in a 09 RZRS, We are still riding in some snow drifts in Cache Valley UT, the winch has been a life saver more than once.
