I am moving to Mesa from saettle in a month or so and want to sell my old landcruiser and buy an ranger. I know the sales pitch basics but of course they wont tell me about buying a used one. I have been looking at 2007 08 and 09 700 xp's. What do I look for Is it worth looking for a XDor an 800. Is the AWD the same as the 2010 models? Is "limited edition" good or is it just the color thing? I have know idea what kind of riding I will be doing when I get there . The stuff I do up here is tight trail riding in the woods. If I had to compare it with something down there people say the white Mt area is close. Help. The more I know The more I can trick my wife.   Thanks   Brody

Brody

Have a friend with a 2006 camo edition, has full metal cab with soft doors (premium glass pop out windshield) and some extra lights.  Will take $7,000.

Or, I can get you in touch with an old friend that owns 2 Polaris dealerships in Arizona.  I know he has several 500 Polaris units selling for $5000.

I'm in Glendale AZ.  Below is some of the kind of riding you will be doing.  Plus...they can be street legal in Arizona.

I would wait till you get here to buy one.  And then I wold buy used.

Transformer knows of some some great deals, and can hook you up with lots of accessories after you have one.

another thing is Craigs list is HUGE here,  there is normally 30 or so Rangers & RZR's for sale all the time.
often you can find one already set-up the way you want (examble: full cage with rear seat or long travel or whatever)  and you save thousands $$$ over buying a new stock one and moding it.
